In the early years of the 21st century, Pune was a rapidly growing city, bustling with real estate activity and business expansion. Yet, when it came to legal services, the concept of a full-fledged law firm as we understand it today was still in its infancy. Lawyers in the city were stalwarts in their own right, highly reputed in their practice, but often working as individuals. Business tycoons and real estate giants faced a recurring challenge—each time they required legal assistance across multiple domains, they had to consult different individual practitioners.

This fragmented approach was not only time-consuming but also cumbersome for corporate houses who wanted seamless, tailor-made legal solutions. It was this very gap in Pune’s legal landscape that visionary lawyer Vishal Kale and his colleagues identified in 2006-07. They envisioned a legal institution that could cater to corporate, real estate, and business clients under one roof, combining litigation expertise with advisory finesse. Thus was born Kale and Shinde Associates, a pioneering step in establishing the law firm culture in Pune.
